The world is a troubled house
Hello,
I am Leo Rivers, a Poet living in Cottage Grove, a small town of 10,000 people 17 miles south of Eugene Oregon.
According to the U.S. Bureau of the Census, the resident population of the United States, projected to 01:40 UTC (EST+5) Sep 07, 2011 is 312,156,247.
IN THAT Cottage Grove has about 10,000 men, women and children - By dividing the US Population of 312,156,247 by 10,000 we can discover to our surprize that the United States of America can be described as a Great Beast with 31,216 Cottage Grove sized scales on its back!
AND - in that The World Population is 6,960,416,885 - there are therefor nearly 700,000 Cottage Grove sized bundles of human beings on Earth!
