Tuesday, December 21st, from 5 to 7PM I will do the 2nd Stand for Peace radio show- "The Stand Independent News" on KSOW 106.7FM. If you are near a radio and in ear shot give a listen and let me know what you think. I am mixing news and commentary with music and who knows what it will develop into. (the show will be every Tuesday at the same time)
Also, Tuesday, December 21st beginning at 6PM at The Art of Everything is our community Winter Solstice celebration with rituals, drums, dancing, food, white elephant gift giving if you so choose, and bring something small that has meaning to you to place in our "community chest" as a symbol of the heart and soul of our community for the coming year.
Friday, December 24th 5- 6pm: our regular Friday vigil/rally
Wednesday, January 5th; 7:30pm; Poetry and Open Mic Night at the Coffee Grove; hosted by Billy Bob Buck "Chumpdaddy" Fush
Monday, January 10th- 6:30 to 8:30pm; Monthly meeting at Kalapuya Books; discussiing plans for March 19; counter-recruitment etc.
THESE MEETING ARE GETTING MORE AND MORE IMPORTANT AS WE GET CLOSWER TO THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE IRAQ INVASION.
